Catching Up is hard to do..................

I had the opportunity to pause the other night and noticed a few things in my garden.  One of those things was a water lily that had developed leaves.  While living in Fredericksburg,  I had a small pond with a goldfish I purchased for my daughter's.  We named him Fred and he grew to about 4 inches in our backyard pond and lived until we relocated back to Maryland.

There is no Fred for this pot pond, however as I dig my bigger pond, there will be fish...and I will let my grandson's give him a name.
